Pool Pavilion

The brief for this project was a space for poker, pool-side entertaining and the possibility for use as a guest house. The original design was asking for something keeping to the traditional style of the house, however as the ‘modern pavilion’ idea took form there was no going back. The sleek and timeless “floating” roof form hovers over a flexible-use space providing shelter against the hot summer months. A fireplace offers cosy evenings by the poolside. The pavilion extends the outdoor landscape and becomes one with it - giving more reason to spend time in the outdoors.
